The low-cost sensors and IoT have come to the rescue due high cost operational complexity of equipment methodologies in environmental monitoring. They are relatively inexpensive reliable. It is on this assumption that we decided use World Air Quality satellite data supplied by air matters.com. This study a 40-day preliminary work which quality [Air Index (AQI), PM2.5, PM10, NO2, CO, SO2, O3] meteorological (temperature, humidity, wind speed) parameters were monitored. collected for five locations Lagos State, Nigeria (Ojodu, Opebi, Ikeja, Maryland, Eti-Osa). obtained subjected basic statistical analyses. findings showed Opebi had highest mean value PM2.5 (69.28 μg/m3), PM10 (107.38 CO (1392 μg/m3). values O3 as follows: 32.52, 38.7, 36.2, 37.85, 36.13 μg/m3 Ojodu, Eti-Osa, respectively. (3179 followed Eti-Osa (2978 lowest Maryland (1943 μg/m3) among reference locations. AQI all presented levels contamination 'Unhealthy Vulnerable Groups'. pollutants much higher than Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.
